Meta’s Community Accelerator program on Facebook is accepting applications.

The Community Accelerator program was first launched by Facebook in the year 2020. Its first phase was a great success, and with that, Meta came up with the second phase in 2021 and now the third, in 2022.

Meta is aiming to build engaging communities that have meaningful impacts on its users.

According to them,

“The 2022 Community Accelerator Program is an engaging, immersive initiative to help admins advance their leadership skills and utilize Facebook tools to deepen their community’s impact.”

In this program, group admins on Facebook get training, advice, mentorship, and funding. This helps them to understand Facebook tools better to maximize their impact on their community and expand their reach to contact more people to add to the community.

Moreover, with the Community Accelerator Program, Facebook admins learn leadership skills; how to create and set up events; how to find volunteers for the event and train them; how to write group rules; how to market the group, etc. In addition, they will be guided in five languages, including English, German, Portuguese, Spanish, and Arabic, to remove the communication gap between the trainers and learners.

In this four-month program starting in October 2022, admins will be able to receive training from recognized and skilled coaches and connect with various community leaders from around the world.

Aside from the skills, Meta will provide group administrators with up to $40,000 in funding to help them maximize their efforts in providing greater services to their community.
